Postal Relays returns to NSW
Postal Relays was popular in the past and NSWMA has not run one for a while.
​
The format is that results are collected from events held in different regions during a certain period then collated together as one set of results.
​
NSWMA will be holding a Postal Competition which is open to all NSWMA financial members. Results from any official event can be used (not a training session) held in the month between 17 January and 16 February inclusive which covers both Masters Country and State Championships as well as any local competitions entered.

Events that will qualify:
​
Sprints: 60m,100m,200m,400m
Middle: 800m/1500m
Distance: 5000m
Hurdles: 80m, 100m,110m, 200m, 300m, 400m
Walks: 1500m, 5000m
Steeplechase: 2000m, 3000m
Jumps: High, Long, Triple, Pole Vault
Throws: Hammer, Shot,Discus,Javelin,Weight
How will it work?

REGISTER TO PARTICIPATE: If you are a current NSWMA financial member, register by Friday 17 January at: https://www.trybooking.com/BHPDN

You will receive a form by email to complete with your results and sent back at the end of the event period 16 February.

Return it by midnight on Tuesday 18 February. Results will be posted within the week.

Certificates will be awarded in each event in each age group.

NSWMA Throws Pentathlon Championship 29 February 2020
These are the official NSW Masters Throws Pentathlon Championships in 2020. Participation is only open to athletes who are financial members of NSWMA in the 2019/20 season.
​
The Championships are conducted by NSWMA in accordance with the rules and regulations of the IAAF and WMA. The Throws Pentathlon consists of 3 attempts at each in the following order of throwing events: Hammer Throw, Shot Put, Discus Throw, Javelin, Weight Throw.
​
Events are contested for men and women in 5 year age groups. Your age group is determined by your age on the day of competition.
​
DATE: Saturday 29 February commencing at 8:30am - 9am (TBC)
LOCATION: SOPAC, Olympic Blvd, Sydney Olympic Park

COST: $10 per entrant - payable on the day
Entry fields and exact start times will be emailed to competitors on or before Thursday February 27th
Late entries and entries on the day will NOT be accepted

IMPLEMENTS: Throwing implements will be provided. Private implements must be submitted for weighing and certification by 8.00am for Group 1 (or 1hour before your start time)

Entrants must be members of their State or Territory Masters Associations.

Select a maximum of 2 events from the drop down list. Note that you may select an event that is not in your home state.

The registration fee is $10 regardless of whether you enter 1 or 2 events.

Awards will be made to the first 3 finishers in each 5 year age group.
