For an athlete to claim a NSW record, they must be a current financial member of NSW Masters Athletics Association at the time of the event. As a financial member of our state body, an athlete is also eligible to be recognised in setting or breaking National AMA, Oceania OMA or World WMA Masters records. Make sure you are covered for the full season by getting your registration done by October 1st each year.

Application Form For State Records
To apply for a State record that you claim to have set or broken, please print off the State/Australia Records Application Form.
Once completed, please send to our Records Officer at records@nswmastersathletics.org.au

Procedure for claiming an AMA National Record
Applications for Australian Records are to be made on the same forms, then submitted to our State Records Officer records@nswmastersathletics.org.au for verification, who will then forward it to the National Statistician.

Procedure for claiming a WMA World Record

Applications for World Records are to be made on the form that is located at the World Masters Athletics website WMA Application for World Track or Field Record

Send the completed application and supporting documents to the National Masters Affiliate in your country. Record will be ratified and sent to WMA Regional Records Coordinator. The record must be accompanied by a Birth Certificate or other proof of age.
